matagal tagal din

finally, i'm able to sign in. internet connection has been awfully slow since the earthquake in Taiwan last 26Dec06, particularly the Google websites (Google, Blogger, Gmail). it has improved si.

so now what?

---***---

had a half-day out with Yagie yesterday after such a long time. she resigned from work last December so no more coffee-lunch breaks. we had lunch, bought one dozen Krispy Kremes at Megamall (ang takaw!!!!!), then to her doctor for check-up, then off to Eastwood to grab some coffee that would go along with our donuts. super laugh trip!!! we reminisced our high school days ("sino ulit yung adviser ni jandy na nagpakulot nung graduation?", and, "zosimo zosimo ang gwapo mo...", and, "sino kaya nagsimula ng bansag na 'Cruz Patay' at 'Cruz Buhay'?"), brainstormed our future business plans ("si pitoy taga-prito ng fishball, ikaw magpapaypay ng inihaw na barbecue!"), and admired the creativity of television commercials ("pag pinapahiran ka ng Vicks Vaporub, naiimagine mo yung trail ng 'vapor' mula sa chest papunta sa ilong.") grabe we spent the whole afternoon laughing!!! hay! i missed that girl so much! Ü next time ulit, Plee! Ü

---***---

last Sunday also, i spent the whole day with Nikki and Dolly (ang mga estudyante ng Toxic Nips) at Greenbelt. mag-aaral daw sila pero nag kwentuhan lang kami. ahehehe! Ü well, i haven't seen these people in a very very long time so there was a lot of catching up and stuff. Ü super na-miss ko sila!

although this isn't in my list, i bought it because the convincing reviews. looks very promising. Ü

and can someone tell me if the Pendragon series is good? i read somewhere that those who loved Harry Potter would like these books as well, but i'm still doubtful...

Albert, nasa list ko rin yung The Book of Dead Days by Marcus Sedgwick

and Eragon is out of stock!!! sa lahat na ata ng Powerbooks!...

and i find this book really interesting, although i'm not sure if this is available in bookstores, or you just read it online. check it out anyway: A Humument by Tom Phillips.

haayy, humahaba na naman ang book wishlist ko ha!
